Description
His reaction never changes. Suddenly alert, his body stiffens, tail stops wagging and his serious expression makes me wonder if the squirrel is taunting him again. I open the door and out he bolts, with the energy and enthusiasm of a much younger dog. Although the squirrel escapes yet again, my old pooch is happy and excited with the thrill of the chase.
